This image was taken in Kenya on the Mara River in Maasai Mara National Park.  In August, the great migration has made its way to the river, queuing up on the Northern side hoping to cross South as the herds make their way back into Tanzania.  Thousands of zebra and wildebeest will make the crossing trying to avoid the crocodiles and hippos that lie in wait.  This image depicts a herd of zebra retreating back to the far shore after spotting crocodile in their path.
